A truly outstanding evening of entertainment at the Embassy on Saturday 5th January 2009, to start off Sincere Supports' 15th anniversary year.

The event opened with surprise guest Sarah Priestley, a local talent studying music at college who wowed the audience with her amazing vocal talent and acoustic guitar playing. Sarah was a late addition introduced by our daughter Laura, watch out for this exciting talent in the future.

No introduction needed for our next guests John Reilly (BOD and AA) and Lewis Nitikman. Now a firm favourite amongst all friends of Sincere Support JR and Lewis once again showed how strong local "Live" music is. Johns effortless vocals complimented by Lewis on keys took the audiences breath away with renditions of Elton John and JR's own solo songs to name a few.

Then the main attraction, the hair stood up on your neck and arms as Paul Pashley and his band opened their first set. This young man is sure to take off soon and reach the dizzy heights he surely deserves after what can only be described as a breathtakingly excellent show. His voice belies his young years and backed up with his superb six strong band produced an evening of celebrated quality with fans dancing and singing all night long.

The serious side to the evening once again out-reached all expectations as Sincere Support was able to raise in excess of £2'000 with the help of a fantastic audience. The money will go directly to the parents and families of sick children in hospital or who have sadly been bereaved and ease their stressful burdens at their most vulnerable time. To this end we thank you all that attended and helped raise this amazing amount.

Thanks also go out to Gordon, Louise, Sheena, Mark, Colin, Diane, Glen, Helen and Wayne for their tireless efforts during the night, we couldn't manage without you.

Finally, if you want a great evening out and at the same time raise much needed funds for a well deserved charity, then look no further than our latest news page for up-coming events.

All good things
