25th Anniversary Party
25th Anniversary Party
Saturday 16th November 2019 saw us celebrate our 25th Anniversary – what an achievement!
It was a very special party held at the Double Tree by Hilton, Sheffield Park Hotel. This really took us out of our comfort zone, themed Balls have organised before … but a 25th anniversary PARTY where do you start? We pulled it off though and had an amazing fun filled evening raising a fabulous amount of money along the way:
£6’550 was raised by the evening from donations, auction, raffle and fundraising games …
The whole evening was not however all about fundraising, it was an opportunity to thank all Trustees over the years, professionals involved with the charity and most importantly charity supporters and families – we had a fabulous mix of all amongst our attendees.
In the words of our Chair, Stephen, “On Behalf of the Trustees of Sincere Support we would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to those of you who have been there from the start. We can’t quite believe how fast 25 years have passed. It was wonderful to catch up with Graham Moore (Westfield Health) and Darren Pearce (Meadowhall Centre) who were founder donors to the Charity. It has been our privilege and pleasure to work alongside them over the years. The Charity has been a lifeline to many families and to celebrate its anniversary with the current supporters has been a truly wonderful celebration – thank you ALL“
Special thanks go out to Ollie Birks (Sheffield Audi), the Sheffield Steelers, Jump Inc and Joe Scarborough for their amazing auction prizes.
We commenced the evening with a drinks reception joined by the amazing “Super Hero” statues provided by Steve Eyre and “The world of Super Heroes” before taking our seats in the Devonshire Suite. Welcomed were special speeches from Graham Moore and Darren Pearce who spoke from their hearts on the partnership built over the years with Sincere Support, Westfield Health and Meadowhall Centre.
Thank you to the amazing Lindsay Dracass, the vocal talent Paul Pashley & his band and of course our great friend Richie Alexander for an outstanding evenings entertainment
Here are a few photos taken from the evening to show how much fun we had …
